I have recently illustrated The Wind in the Willows App. It is a full interactive book, especially adapted for the iPad by Somerset Maughn winning author, Sam North and programmed by Bobby Gilbert of the Z Book.
It has consistantly received five star ratings in Apples App Store.
This incredibly generous quote from Nigel McMorris, Chairman, Kenneth Grahame Society. "I think I can safely say that today we have seen a milestone adaptation of The Wind in the Willows that will introduce Kenneth Grahame and this story to a whole new generation worldwide." -
Top quality prints of my original drawings used in the book are now available here in my shop.
11 x 14 inches ready to frame.
My next illustration project involves Charles Dickens. The creation of Scrooge as the central character in A Christmas Carol was stroke of genius. Scrooge has become the man who epitomises greed and meeness. He did this for Victorian England but remains potent today. A tale of redemption, from the cold hearted and grasping person to kind and sympathetic man.
Reading Dickens again filled me with images. These are my drawings based on those images. They are in preparation for a proposed App and book. The Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury, London will be displaying these prints and The Chairman of The Dickens Society, London has given me some very flattering comments regarding the drawing.
They are available on Steve Dooley's Shop. 11 x14 inches ready to frame.
